Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born on August 9, 1976, at Beaumont Puy in Domme. From a very young age, her dental doctors parents and teacher mother supported Audrey's love of theatre and drama. The passion for theater was the one which trumped her original desire to become a an animal scientist. She rose to prominence as an actress in her early years and achieved huge success. In 1998 after her studies, she took part in the French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to launching her acting career in earnest. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her early years, but now dissociates herself from the aforementioned societal influences. In addition to her acting career she also pursued a modeling career. She is also the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse.
