Selena Quintanilla Perez was an American artist. It was quite popular the fact that her music was the rhythm of Texan. Her birth date was the 16th of April in 1971, within Lake Jackson, Texas. She was a singer in Spanish even though she was American and used English since it was her first language. Selena is from a household which was loving, happy and from Hispanic heritage. Selena's father, Abraham Quintanilla, was also a musician, although he did not have the same recognition as his daughter. Selena's parents did all they could to encourage the young girl and encourage her talent when they discovered the talent she had. Selena began performing with her siblings in the bar of her father after they and their families learned that she had talent. The group she formed with her brothers was referred to by the name of Selena as well as the Dinos. After recording their first song entitled My first recorded songs, in 1984 the group became well-known.
